Attend this unique two-day class for Final Cut Pro 6 editors to learn how to take advantage of FCP's new "send to Shake" feature. Weynand Training, a leader in Final Cut Pro training, has teamed up with Steve Wright, a leader in Shake compositing training, to offer this class on Shake for Final Cut Pro editors. Designed specifically for Final Cut Pro 6 editors rather than compositors, it will demonstrate the workflow to seamlessly send a project to Shake, add professional effects, then return the results to FCP. Key operations of interest to editors such as speed changes to change the length of a clip with superb quality and bluescreen keying with a feature film look will be covered. Attendees will also get a grand tour of Shake to understand its overall operation and workflow so they can continue to expand their knowledge of Shake at their own pace.
This two-day event will start with an overview of the Shake interface to give the editor the "lay of the land". Next, how to send a clip to Shake, process it and send it back to FCP. Finally, the most common uses of Shake in support of FCP editing will be demonstrated. The second day features a survey of the various image processing operations that Shake offers, followed by demonstrations of how those operations are used for common effects work such as wire removal, motion tracking, and scene salvage.
