Detroit Windsor International Film Festival : Film Festival

Come participate in a Truly International Film Festival, spanning two cities and two countries, in Detroit and Windsor! The Detroit Windsor International Film Festival is making a big splash in our Inaugural year!

You know Detroit has passion! And we have a history for creative innovation- in music, design, film and all of the arts! Now imagine all this creative energy applied to a Film Festival!

Windsor and Detroit are a unique pair of cities that aren't like any place on the planet! You can bet that our Film Festival will be just as unique! In fact, we're so much more than your typical film festival-- we're more like a world class creative conference- in drag!

Along with great films at the core, we are featuring an industry "TechFair", which offers a glimpse at the emerging Digital Cinema workflow! At the College for Creative Studies, a nationally renowned arts school, we are planning many layers of workshops, product demos, discussion panels, guest speakers and other activities that honor the first 100 years of filmmaking, while looking to the next century of media and entertainment production!

... and you know that Detroit is famous for our parties! We're having several official VIP parties, and many others are popping up as we speak.

There are lots of ways to participate: Become a Sponsor, Be part of the TechFair, submit your films, be a volunteer... or just attend and have a great time!

No matter where you are now, be in Detroit on JUNE 26-29 for this historic event. Even in our first year, the DWIFF is already on the road to becoming a popular destination on the world festival circuit!
