This 3-hour workshop from
Boulder Digital Arts covers the basics of working with Adobe Flash. You will learn how to use the tools in the interface and how to create basic timeline-based animations. Adobe Flash CS4 will be used for the presentation, but most of what is covered will also be applicable to earlier versions of the software.
The workshop will cover:
- Browsers, Plug-ins, and Compatibility
- Overview of Panels, Stage, Scenes, Layers, Library & Symbols
- Overview of Animation and Timeline-based image editing
- Working with Shape & Motion Tweening
- Introduction to Interactivity and basic ActionScripting
- Creating a finished product, testing and publishing
