Getting Started with InDesign, Part I

An introduction to InDesign for those new to the application.

This 3-hour lecture style workshop introduces you to the beginning basics of Adobe InDesign. Starting with creating and saving files and getting familiar with the Adobe workspace, we will learn to create and manipulate graphic objects, create and modify text, and place graphics from other sources.

Other topics we will explore include color and swatches, smart guides, and working with simple paths. If you've transitioned from QuarkXPress or PageMaker, or want to move up from word processing or entry level software, this class will give you the tools you need to get started right away with InDesign!
